Welcome to the official website of AMRO, an international, non-governmental organisation with the three-fold mission of research, advocacy and education in the natural healing arts and sciences.  The primary focus of AMRO activities is on the broad spectrum of traditional therapies including but not limited to:  naturopathy, ethno-botany and folk medicine, herbalism, homeopathy, healing touch, energy medicine, physical medicine and other non-regulated healing arts.  AMRO seeks to preserve, perpetuate and validate these traditions as part of the cultural heritage of humanity.

AMRO is legally chartered in Europe but has a world wide presence through its network of affiliates, an advisory board of distinguished achievers and the adjunct faculty and regional representatives of its educational division, Alternative Medicines Research Institute (AMRI).
