Operating authority, Recognitions and Accreditations

AMRI is an institutional affiliate of The Open International University for Complementary Medicine, Sri Lanka, affiliated to Medicina Alternativa, an international NGO recognized by the UN. AMRI has an Academic Charter from OIUCM granting full authority to confer degrees at all levels at its sole discretion. The Institute is the educational subsidiary of AMRO, chartered in Europe to conduct international advocacy, educational and research programs in natural healing arts. In 2003, AMRI received a Royal Charter from Kuwait extending full recognition and accreditation to its international programs. AMRI is not accredited by any association recognized by the US Department of Education, but has notable international peer recognitions and affiliations.

In August, 2004 AMRI was granted a Parliamentary Charter by the International Parliament for Safety and Peace, Palermo, Italy. This charter enhances the document of Recognition and Accreditation previously granted by the same body and attests to the international standing of our institution.
